lawbard...well I was trying to get my calendar app in my phone to update with my google calendar, because the app's last upgrade completely redesigned it.
In the process, I kept getting duplicates on both devices - so rather than have "Madrigal Weekend" or "Dentist Appointment" listed 2-4 times everyplace and have to manually delete them one at a time, I tried to purge one entirely to then update it.
But apparently the order of operations was a bit backwards.
I have completely deleted my entire life of appointments and functions from 2009 to 2013 and there is no way in the world to retrieve it.
Fuck.
It'll be a pain in the ass to re-create things for the future. It'll be annoying to risk missing appointments in the present.
But the past - the treasured past of what I did and when - its gone. Eating by the fucking memory hole of user error.
This is why we can't have nice things. And if you've scheduled something with me - let me know what and when it was.
And on top of that, I've got a splitting hunger headache and managed to hurt the feelings of someone who is very special to me today.
Today isn't just fired. Today is pepper sprayed in the face for endangering officer safety by being unarmed while sitting motionless on the pavement.
